Fendi Bong

Born in Borneo and classically trained in French cuisine, Fendi Bong brings both precision and heart to the kitchen at The Good Paddock. His career has taken him through some of Sydney’s most acclaimed restaurants and then north to Darwin, where he was awarded Head Chef of the Year in 2023.

Fendi’s food philosophy is simple — cook with what’s local, waste nothing, and let the ingredients shine. He has a deep love for rustic, home-cooked flavours, which he reimagines with refined technique and creativity. Hard-working, joyfully humble, and known for his fondness for chickens, Fendi is the perfect match for The Good Paddock — a place where farm-grown produce and heartfelt cooking come together.
